Refund policy

30-day returns

We want you to love your gift card book. If you are not happy with it, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund.

Return conditions

To be eligible for a return, the book must be unused, unwritten in, and in the same condition you received it. Gift cards are not included with our books, so please remove any gift cards before sending a book back.

How to start a return

Email hello@thethoughtfulbookcompany.com with your order number and we will send you return instructions. Please do not send a book back without contacting us first.

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your book arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take up to 10 business days to post the refund.

Exchanges

To swap for a different design, return your original book and place a new order.
